Lioncourt Homes Chief Executive visited Number 10 Downing Street

Yesterday, Lioncourt Homes Chief Executive, Colin Cole, visited Number 10 Downing Street to discuss future housing and the challenges that face SME housebuilders in supporting the country’s housing growth targets.

Arranged by the Home Builders Federation, a group of members were invited to set out their key concerns. This included the increasing cost of delivering new homes, delays in the planning process, the reduction of RP’s actively bidding for S106 affordable homes and the lack of support for first-time buyers. It was a fast-paced discussion intended to inform Government of the critical issues facing SME housebuilders. Colin joined policy officials, advisors and other members of the HBF.

Reflecting on the meeting, Colin Cole said: “It was a very useful meeting and particularly good to have the opportunity to raise key issues directly with representatives of Government and to be able to emphasise the key role that SME housebuilders have in tackling the UK’s housing crisis.”

This meeting underscores our commitment to driving quality development. We continue to blend innovative design with exceptional build quality and service, all while actively engaging with government leaders to shape a brighter future for our communities.

We will continue to work together to make a meaningful impact on housing for tomorrow.
