Short term land acquisition and house building

This division is responsible for purchasing land which is capable of achieving a speedy planning permission for the development of residential housing. Lioncourt has access to significant cash sums without recourse to bank funding. As a consequence the Company is able to make quick decisions to purchase new land and has the funds available to ensure an expedient purchase.

We will consider Greenfield and Brownfield land, with or without planning permission and we have a dedicated and experienced team that enables us to react quickly and offer expert advice on planning, engineering and commercial issues.


Longer term, strategic land and options

This division is responsible for purchasing land that currently has no planning consent. This normally involves securing land through promotion and option agreements. We have considerable experience of working with land owners to promote their land through the planning system to supply future housing needs.

We typically agree the terms of buying land with the land owner at an early stage and then Lioncourt takes on the responsibility of promoting the land through the planning system to achieve a planning consent. We are able to react quickly and to offer expert advice on all aspects of this process and we currently have over 400 acres of land under our control with the capability of generating planning consent for well over 5,000 new homes.
