Lioncourt Homes has been given the green light to deliver 52 new homes off the A4103 in Leigh Sinton, Malvern Hills, just five miles from Worcester.

All the homes have been designed to be sympathetic to the local area and will feature red brick facades, some with mock Tudor details. Many of the houses will include sustainable features such as air source heat pumps, EV charging points and solar panels.

Following the go-ahead from Malvern District Council, Lioncourt Homes is aiming to start work on these new homes later this year.

Rachel Cartwright, Land Director at Lioncourt Homes, said: “We are delighted to have received planning permission to deliver new homes in Leigh Sinton that will help to meet the local housing need. We are proud of the plans put forward for this site and believe it will offer a hugely desirable place to live, in what is a fantastic village. As a Worcester-based company, we are passionate about building high quality, sustainable new homes across the county.

“We are now looking forward to starting work on this site, which we are hoping will be in the next few months.”

In addition to the new homes, 40% of which will be affordable, Lioncourt Homes will deliver large areas of open, green space, including a children’s play area. Where possible, the housebuilder will preserve existing habitats and create new biodiversity areas to support the local wildlife within this green space and the wider site.

Multi award-winning housebuilder, Lioncourt Homes, has also recently started work on two other sites in Worcestershire; delivering 83 homes in Martley and 120 properties in Rushwick.

Based in Worcester, Lioncourt Homes is one of the fastest growing housebuilders in the country and has received numerous accolades, including the HBF five star quality housebuilder rating for customer satisfaction for 10 successive years.
