Rachel Cartwright

Rachel joined Lioncourt Homes in October 2018, having spent the previous 8 years working within two large contractor and developer businesses and 4 years as a land agent for a national estate agency.

With a wealth of varied experience, Rachel joined the Lioncourt Team to drive land acquisition alongside Neil Chandler. With a strong focus on business development, Rachel has cultivated many new relationships for the business including Homes England which resulted in the acquisition of a site in Priorslee, Telford.

In 2019, Rachel was instrumental in securing a significant grant to cover remediation costs on a site in the Black Country, this key injection of cash was critical to ensure the viability of the site.

Since September 2020 Rachel has has been head of the land team and coordinates all land bids, pulling in the expertise of colleagues from engineering, planning, design, commercial, sales and marketing to formulate the strategy for each land bid and to ensure presentation is memorable, detailed and competitive. Rachel’s strong focus on the team approach results in well formulated and presented land bids which impress agents and landowners and positively promotes the Lioncourt brand.

Rachel continues to drive the land bids and ongoing business development of Lioncourt Homes as well as having strategic input into growth plans and helping define new ways of securing business for the future. Using the vast network of contacts accumulated over the past 15 years, Rachel will drive business growth so that ambitious targets can be achieved.

Alongside her role at Lioncourt, Rachel serves as Vice Chair of governors at a large primary school in Kidderminster.
