Deputy Mayor puts first spade in the ground as construction begins on new signature collection in Gotherington

The Deputy Mayor of Tewkesbury Borough, Cllr Jill Smith, visited a landmark new homes site to mark the official start of construction at The Furrows, an exclusive new collection of homes in Gotherington, near Bishop’s Cleeve.

Cllr Smith was welcomed to the site by representatives from Lioncourt Homes: Colin Cole, CEO; Danny Tunstall, Construction Director; Ian Huxstep, Area Build Manager; and Dan Ward, Site Manager, who guided her through the plans for the development after she put the first spade in the ground.

Set just outside the renowned Cotswolds National Landscape at the south-eastern edge of Gotherington, The Furrows will deliver a considered collection of 45 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, each designed to combine the area’s classic character with contemporary interiors and a high-specification finish throughout.
