Construction begins on new homes development in Gotherington

Work is now underway on an exciting new development in the village of Gotherington that will bring a high-quality collection of 45 new homes to the heart of Gloucestershire.

Award-winning homebuilder Lioncourt Homes is continuing its delivery of outstanding homes in the region, expanding its portfolio of thoughtfully designed developments across Gloucestershire and beyond.

Named The Furrows, the development is located on the south-eastern edge of Gotherington and will offer a beautifully crafted selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes in an idyllic rural setting near Cheltenham.

Earlier this year, Lioncourt Homes secured a five-star customer satisfaction rating from the Home Builders’ Federation (HBF) for the 11th consecutive year.

Designed with nature in mind, the scheme will include extensive green and landscaped areas, incorporating wildflower meadows, new hedgerows, peaceful pathways and an orchard, creating spaces where residents and wildlife can flourish together.

Perfectly placed for both village life and wider connectivity, The Furrows benefits from nearby bus services, links to Bishops Cleeve and Cheltenham, and easy access to the A435, A46 and M5 for travel further afield. Ashchurch for Tewkesbury station is also just a short distance away.

Colin Cole, CEO at Lioncourt Homes, said: “We are delighted to have begun construction on this highly anticipated new development in Gotherington, where our investment into high-quality homes goes hand-in-hand with ensuring a positive and lasting contribution to the local area.

“The Furrows has been carefully designed to complement its picturesque surroundings and will provide much-needed new housing for a wide range of buyers, from first-time homeowners to growing families and downsizers.

“This marks another important milestone in our journey to create sustainable, inclusive communities across the region.”

Prospective buyers can now register their interest in The Furrows, with further development updates to follow very soon.
