Lioncourt Homes secures HBF five-star status for the eighth year in a row

Worcestershire based housebuilder, Lioncourt Homes, has achieved the maximum five-star quality rating in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) customer satisfaction survey for the eighth year in a row.

The HBF annual survey is one of the most comprehensive, large-scale surveys of its type carried out in the UK. It has been designed to provide home buyers with information about developers and to encourage excellent levels of customer service to be delivered by home builders.

The scheme, launched in 2005, awards housebuilders stars for customer satisfaction based on customer feedback in an independent National New Homes Survey. Since participating in the scheme Lioncourt Homes has consistently been awarded the five-star accolade, meaning that over 90% of those asked would recommend the company to a friend.

Lioncourt Homes is also supporting the work of the New Homes Quality Board and its developing proposals to introduce a new, more stringent code of practice which will drive further improvements in new build quality and significantly strengthen consumer redress.

Colin Cole, CEO, Lioncourt Homes said: “To achieve the HBF five-star quality rating for the eighth successive year is a fantastic achievement for our business. I am immensely proud of the passion and commitment shown by the whole team at Lioncourt Homes to deliver quality homes and exceptional service to our customers, despite the challenges in recent years. Quality of design, build and service is a fundamental element of our business, an integral part of our culture and the driver behind everything that we do”

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation, said: “The survey results show that the industry is increasingly delivering very high levels of customer service. Achieving such high levels of customer satisfaction underlines the commitment of house builders to drive improvements through their businesses that deliver positive customer outcomes. With the imminent introduction of a new industry Consumer Code and a New Homes Ombudsman service, the industry is wholly focussed on making the further necessary changes to ensure it complies with the new demanding requirements. These should see further improvements in customer satisfaction levels moving forward and provide new build buyers with even more confidence in their builder and new home. To achieve a 5-star rating whereby over 90% of a builder’s customers would recommend them to a friend demonstrates the commitment of the company to its customers and is a significant achievement.”

Lioncourt Homes offer a wide range of homes from one-bedroom apartments to luxury five-bedroom family homes situated in desirable locations throughout the UK.
