Lioncourt Homes retains HBF five-star status for the seventh successive year

Worcestershire based housebuilder, Lioncourt Homes, has achieved the maximum five-star quality rating in the Home Builders Federation (HBF) customer satisfaction survey for the seventh year in a row.

The HBF annual survey is one of the most comprehensive, large-scale surveys of its type carried out in the UK. It has been designed to provide home buyers with information about developers and to encourage excellent levels of customer service to be delivered by home builders.

The scheme, launched in 2005, awards housebuilders stars for customer satisfaction based on customer feedback in an independent National New Homes Survey. Since participating in the scheme Lioncourt Homes has consistently been awarded the five-star accolade, meaning that over 90% of those asked would recommend the company to a friend.

Colin Cole, CEO, Lioncourt Homes said: “The whole team at Lioncourt is immensely proud to have received the five-star quality rating for the seventh successive year. Quality is a fundamental element of our business, an integral part of our culture and the driver behind everything that we do. This accolade demonstrates our dedication and commitment to achieving excellent standards year on year and delivering an exceptional service to our customers. All new recruits are indoctrinated into our quality first approach and we leave no stone unturned in our desire to develop quality homes, pleasing designs and attractive and thoughtful environments. Customers are at the forefront of our business and as a consequence the HBF Customer Satisfaction Index is a key measure of our success.”

Stewart Baseley, executive chairman of the Home Builders Federation, said: “The survey demonstrates that the industry is delivering an excellent level of service in the opinion of over 90% of its customers. The fact that we have seen four successive years of improved satisfaction levels shows the clear focus builders have been putting on the customer. That this level of satisfaction has been delivered during a pandemic that saw sites closed and builders unable to access homes for a period makes it even more of an achievement. The industry remains committed to maintaining the significant progress of recent years and fully supports moves to put an independent New Homes Ombudsman in place to strengthen customer protections and continue to drive up standards.”
