Key Responsibilities

To provide companywide support for all IT queries inclusive of hardware, software, mobile phones, landline phones, tablets, printers and associated accessories. Ensure best value across all IT equipment procurement, service providers and supplier agreements.

  • Coordinate IT support and training for all technology users
  • Ensure efficient and effective technology and Internet access for Company users
  • Offer troubleshooting or repair for IT equipment, printers, and mobile phones, either by offering telephone support or attending site where necessary
  • Oversee information security and maintain network and user security through hardware or software installation, policy and training
  • Implement annual IT budget for the organisation as whole and for specific departments
  • Create and track company inventory for hardware, software, printers, mobiles and associated accessories throughout an organisation
  • Established relationships with technology providers and ensuring best value and quality of service is achieved
  • Advise about the companies IT equipment, networking, and connectivity needs and purchase products, parts, and services with Director approval
  • Develop emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data
  • Develop and continually review company policy in relation to the use of all technologies
  • Research and stay up-to-date regarding new IT equipment and solutions for the benefit of the company and users
  • Mobilise and install the IT set up for new housing developments (sales and site management) in conjunction with the relevant build/sales targets
  • Set IT annual strategy for company to support the business plan and targets
