MP Robin Walker Visits Worcestershire’s Fastest Growing Company

MP Robin Walker visited Lioncourt Homes this week to learn more about the tremendous growth and success of the Worcester based company which was established in 2006 by Executive Directors Colin Cole and Neil Chandler.

Now in its 6th successive year of record profit growth Lioncourt Homes is the fastest growing home builder in the UK and has also been ranked as the 413th fastest growing business in Europe among all industries in 31 countries by the Financial Times. This follows the company’s success of being placed 41st in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and 12th in the Sunday Times Profit Track 100.

During the visit Robin Walker congratulated the developer on their most recent accolade of Housebuilder of the Year as well as being recognised in the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2018, for the third successive year.

The MP also took time to talk to members of ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ the company’s new training initiative which has provided a platform for trainees to discuss their career and progression routes and gain more of an understanding of the wider business as well as implementing fundamental business systems to improve company processes.

Colin Cole, Chief Executive of Lioncourt Homes said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Robin to our offices to discuss the growth of the business and introduce him to members of the Lioncourt team. We are extremely proud of our achievements which is testament to the special culture we’ve built and the effort and the drive of our employees”

The Lioncourt Group, which builds everything from one-bedroom apartments to luxury five-bedroom family homes, will continue to focus on the Midlands and central England. Turnover has soared from £11m to £66m since 2013, and is expected to hit £100m this year, before growing to £250m by 2023.
