Lioncourt Homes donates £600 to community village library in Hook Norton

Not only has Lioncourt Homes earned a proud and enviable reputation for building beautiful homes in select locations, it also takes great pride in creating positive and thriving relationships within the local communities it serves.

Hook Norton Community Library in the centre of the village, and the original site of the old primary school, will benefit following a £600 donation given to The Friends of the Library from Lioncourt Homes at their longstanding and popular ‘Book and Plant Sale’ fundraising event.

Sue Ditchfield secretary of the Friends of Hook Norton Community Library says ‘’We’re delighted to receive this generous donation from Lioncourt Homes. We totally rely on subscriptions and donations such as this to help us. The £600 will go a long way towards the £1300 we’ve allocated to renovate and redecorate our ‘Reading Room’ that suffered structural damage recently.’’

Liz Herring, Sales Director from Lioncourt Homes said ‘’It’s a privilege to support the local community by providing this donation. Hook Norton is a beautiful village with a wonderful heritage and we take our responsibility to help local organisations such as this extremely seriously and add extra value to the community whenever we can.’’

There is a select range of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes as part of the first phase of properties released at Scholars’ Gate and prices currently range from £370,000 to £690,000.

The show homes are open daily between 10.00am and 5.30pm. For further information visit the show homes and marketing suite at Scholars’ Gate on Sibford Road, Hook Norton, near Banbury OX15 5JS.
