Lioncourt expands leadership team with appointment of Business Development Director

Lioncourt Homes is delighted to confirm the appointment of Steve Mitchell as Business Development Director.

In this newly created role, Steve will assist in driving Lioncourt’s exciting growth aspirations by offering additional strategic support. In particular, he will be developing new business opportunities to run alongside the Group’s highly successful Homes and Strategic Land Divisions. He will also head the sales and marketing team to provide the leadership to more than double the scale of the business over the next 3 years. The medium-term business plan supports a volume increase to 500 sales, with turnover of over £150 million, during the next few years.

Steve joins Lioncourt with a wealth of experience based predominantly in corporate banking. During his career, he has held various positions which have seen him managing transactions, portfolios and delivering funding structures on behalf of clients – including local authorities, developers and investors. Most recently, he held the role of Debt Finance Director at OakNorth Bank, which saw him open their third regional office in Birmingham. Prior to this, Steve held roles at both Santander and RBS, focusing largely on client management and business management.

Steve commented on the appointment:

“I am delighted to be embarking on this new adventure with Lioncourt Homes. The company is currently taking significant steps to accelerate growth and I am excited to be a part of this. My focus will be to introduce new business opportunities and to shape the sales and marketing strategy going forward, in order to support the business in the next phase of growth.”

Colin Cole, CEO, commented:

“We are extremely pleased to announce Steve’s appointment. He has an impressive background in the corporate banking arena and we are very much looking forward to working with him to explore different avenues for growth. Steve’s role will add value to the business and he will play a key role in Lioncourt Homes’ strategy moving forward as we significantly expand our operations.”
